For our renowned pharma-client we are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to oversee and drive the Medical Function across a region, multiple countries, or with global scope.

Deine Skills

Minimum of 7 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, or related functions
Demonstrated leadership experience in regional or global medical organizations
Strong track record of developing talent and leading cross-functional teams
In-depth understanding of drug development, medical governance, regulatory frameworks, and pharmacovigilance
Excellent strategic, organizational, and communication skills
Fluent in English, German is a big plus

Deine Aufgaben

Lead and develop the Medical Function at regional or global level, overseeing Clinical Development, Drug Safety, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs
Manage talent, budgets, and resources while fostering a culture of integrity and ethical standards
Direct governance on product safety, medical information, and stakeholder services to ensure compliance and commercial success
Support Global Development and business units, aligning medical and clinical activities with corporate strategy for sustainable growth
Define and implement medical strategy tailored to regional or global needs, ensuring consistency, governance, and training
Appoint Country Medical Directors (where relevant) and oversee risk management, issue resolution, and cross-functional communication
Strengthen collaboration between medical and marketing functions and build relationships with KOLs
